       Saved video settings changes with every restart

    Hello everybody,

    I need help with my problem :

    I have WDTV Live, Firmware Release 1.05.04 (5/12/2011)
    TV LG 47SL9000
    connected via HDMI cable

    I set in video settings output HDMI 1080p@60Hz and everything is working fine

    but when I turn the device off and than turn it on again, my TV says that the incoming signal is 720p@50Hz and the video settings are changed to option "composite (PAL)" (there is only HDMI cable plugged in) and I have to change the settings back to HDMI 1080p@60Hz

    that happens everytime I turn the device off

    Did you have the same problem ? What should I do ?

    WD's been struggling with HDMI handshake-related issues for quite some time now, and seems every firmware version has issues with different TV sets. One thing I can suggest is to try a bunch of different HDMI cables, since that can make a difference. If that doesn't help, it might be best if you guys reported this in the official forum, and hopefully the devs will look into this and release a better FW version next time.
