    HI, We are not 100% about anything. All is we know is it says it decodes DTS right outta of the box, so with that said judge for yourself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

    Odd, indeed Amazon.com (US) has completely deleted the item "Western Digital WD TV Live Network-ready HD Media Player" from it's website. I pre-ordered it a few days ago, and my order is still there. I wonder what happened. They didn't have any in stock (it is not out yet) so they couldn't have sold out of them. Is this bad news? I'd expect to get an email from Amazon.com saying my order was cancelled if it indeed has been cancelled.

    Anyone know what's going on here? Amazon was the only place that had it to prepurchase. And they had it for a nice sale price, too. I really hope this doesn't mean the item isn't going to be released on the 10th or 13th (I've heard both dates).

    Bruce, maybe WD delayed a little longer. But I bet the ones already bought, they will come in just fine.

    Annoyingly the live 1080p was listed on Amazon.co.uk right up until yesterday morning, by yesterday lumchtime it had disappeared!!!

    Very odd and annoying, anyone got any idea why they've pulled it from the site?

    I read somewhere that amazon bought loads of the original WDTV and were then able to undercut everyone on them. Have they pulled the newer version cos they have loads left of the original version and donk't thin people will buy them cos of the new version???

    No idea if thats the situation but non the less a very stupid one on their part if you're right about the reason for all this on off stuff. Anyhow the best bet around here is to go down to your local BestBuy and buy it there.

    Now available on Amazon UK for £99 free delivery.

    A few days earlier there was a listing for the player, however that was not dispatched and sold by Amazon UK, plus it was £5 more and you had to pay £5.99 delivery,

    Glad I've just sold the original player today.

    pandora does not work here in Canada. Said it only works with an american ip.

    Just going to sell my WDTV Gen 1, then I'll go for the Live, seeing as B-Rad now also have one. I don't think there will be any more WDLXTV FW updates, at least for the old version.
