What do you see? Blank screen? No signal? Have you tried the composite connection? Is the output setting on the player selected correctly?

yes i did, its just blank. all noise when i tried hd mode 760 and up. while on composite video connection i tried to set video output resolution, when i try NTSC component 480i i get the display in black and white with crispier edges, then i would try to put the component wiring and set to the component channel on tv corresponding to the change i made and no display on the component channel
its annoying |

I had the same problem - issue was that on the Sony Bravia TV the component is set to auto which means it will switch between component and Video 3 as the input. Once I set this to component all was well and I can get 1080i via the component cable.
TO change the setting you need to go Home - Settings - External Inputs The select Video 3/ Component 1 and chnage the setting to Component 1 from Auto. Hope this helps as the WD TV Mini is great with the Sony Bravia. |
