       Freezing during MKV playback

    I have a week old WDTV Live. 2 days ago started problems when playing MKV. Every now and then the picture freezes for 20-30 seconds, then accelerate and normally plays for few minutes.
    I formatted my USB stick, put the new firmware, same thing.
    Ideas? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

    Does this happen with every MKV now? Did it start only after you updated the FW? Tried the soft reset option and also the hard reset button?

    Hello!

    I have a WD TV Live SMP with latest firmware. The same freezing problem with mkv files has happened twice. I had to unplug the mains cable to reset it.
