Hi all,
I just received a WDTV WDBAAL0000NBK-NESN from newegg today. Pluged it in and I get a blank screen. So I pickup up a thumb drive, formated it to Fat32 plugged that in, and nothing. Wire is connected to the proper color codes and the the outside connector. I have a power light, a usb light, and the light on the thumb drive. Is it DOA? anything else I can try? |

I moved this to the WD TV Mini sub-forum, since that's what you seem to have (see my sig below for more).
Anyway, try the reset button. Also, you get nothing at all on your TV when you switch the Mini on? How are you connected? Via composite cable? Component? Have you switched to the proper input mode on your TV (my old TV for example has front and back composite connectors called TV/AV1 and TV/AV2)? |

BTW, I could not find my post and there wasn't a PM saying it wasw moved. No I didn't send a PM (and apparently one isn't sent automatically) but I deliberately left a Moved link in the Troubleshooting > WDTV Live forum where you posted your topic. You can go there now and check if you see the link. It's very much there. |
