       WDTV Live, picture blinks on and off...Help please...

    Hello, I'm having problems with my player occasionally turning the picture on and off during playback. It usually happens around the beginning of playback. I am using a 2 TB wd hard drive with mostly ISO video files and connected the player to TV via HDMI. For the most part it plays well, but this problem has me baffled. I updated the firmware a couple of months ago with no change. What am I missing?

    So it happens only with ISOs and no other file types? How about extracting the VOBs from the ISOs? Do those exhibit the same issues as well?

    If it's a general issue with all types of videos, try changing the HDMI cable. You can also check whether the problem persists with a different connection type (composite/component).
