       Cant stream video or audio from my pc

    My WDTV Live SMP is connected to my network, and netflix works fine. However when i try to connect to my pc to stream video from it it keeps asking for my username/password...only problem is Ive never set up a user name or password. I tried leaving it blank, I tried leaving it as default anonymous, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

    not sure what OS is on your PC so this is a Windows guess, is your guest account enabled? if not, try it and see.
    other than that, it should be the same user name and pass you use to login to your PC, you could create a different account and try it's login info too.

    I had the same issue. Remove 'Anonymous' as the username and leave the password as blank. Make sure your WDTV live is added to your Media Devices and that your folders are shared with the homegroup and added to your video libraries on WMP for network share / media server setups respectively.
