Hi, I think I might have fried it by plugging in the wrong cable. Now they led light won't even turn on. Is there any fix for this? Is there anyway to retrieve the data that was saved?

Provided the HDD didn't get fried as well, you can always carefully remove it and retrieve your data. It might be a good idea though to check whether this will void your warranty (in case frying the player didn't already do so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ).
