    I'm new

and am thinking of joining the WD TV bandwagon ever since ps3 stabbed me in the back with there stupid firmware versions and Cinavia BS...

did some searching on youtube and looks like this is the solution, but is it really?

That depends... The firmware releases are always buggy as hell, but guess that's true of a lot of these players (those that receive FW updates anyway). However, must be said that when it all works well, it's really a nice product. The potential is what keeps us around, although WD frustrates us no end. The best thing to do IMO would be to try it out for yourself and make up your own mind as to whether it suits your specific setup and requirements or not. Either use a friend's, or else buy one and return within the specified time period if not completely satisfied.

P.S. Doh! This is what I get for not being around the last few days and reading this topic before your other one where you've mentioned that you already ended up buying a Live. Oh well, hope you find it to your liking... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
