I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or is a known issue. I am on 1.06.15 and for some reason could not get the WDTV to view and play files on the laptop (Win7 x64 SP1 home premium), it kept saying there was something wrong with the network.

I eventually found the reason which was the laptop was connected to the router both by network cable and wireless. Previously it had only wireless. Once a single connection was used it worked again. With both connections I was still able to browse the HDD's attached to the WDTV but just not the other way.

If some have a similar issue check this isn't the case with your set up.

Thanks for sharing, lucid. It's always good to know what exactly one should be looking for if something's not working.
