Hi there !
I've just got Inception Blu-ray (40GB) in ISO format, and when i play that on my WD TV LIVE it loads in very long time, about 1 min. and then, it's about 1 hour and 30 mins in the movie where "Juno" are rebuilding the city - and at this point i can rewind back to the start of the movie, but i can only rewind with x16 speed so it would take ALOT of time !. - But on my computer it works fine, no problems there !. So i decided to get a new version of Inception at full disc (40GB) also ISO format. And i have the same problems as the first dics - it loads in very long time, and the movie starts about 1 hour and 30 min. in the movie, and i can rewind back to the start of the movie. - And this version also works on my computer !. But any other Blu-ray full discs (40GB +/-) works fine, i recently saw "300" as ISO format in 40GB with no problems, and i can see any other movies at the same size without problems!, but Inception i only have problems ?!. I recently updated my WD TV LIVE to the newest version. I use HDMI cable to my TV, and i use LAN cable via my router, and i have Windows 7. Anyone that can help me ? // Morten, Denmark |

If it's giving you that message for a file that previously did play, try the reset button and see if that helps.
As for the ISO itself, since other ISOs of similar sizes seem to work fine, it might be a problem with how that disc was ripped, or maybe a problem with the player's firmware. Things to try: 1) Check if the ISO plays fine from a directly attached USB HDD. 2) If you have the original disc, re-rip using different programs (try AnyDVD HD first). 3) Since anyway BR menus aren't supported, unless you want to maintain the file in ISO format for some reason, try converting losslessly to MKV using something like MakeMKV. |
