    Hi,

I have just bought WDTV Live Hub last weekemd and did a quick setup via wired with cat.6 to 1Gbps port of D-Link DIR-855. I also have Synology DS411+II connected via the same router (hardwired).

First start up, it prompt automatic firmware update which i did successfully, then i could recognise the NAS via smb, but it was only lasting a few mins and the error message showing the connection to the NAS is gone.

Everytime i have to restart via wdtv live hub's menu, then things back to normal. It will happen approx. Every 15 mins and it is rather annoying.

Any idea how to solve this? Unfortunately in Singapore we dont have a good customer protection and i cant return it back to the shop.

    Thanks for the help.

Just a thought - is there a power saver option present and turned on on any of the devices?

The nas is on and can be access via laptop or ipad without issues. The duration of repeated problem is approx. 30 mins not 15 mins as i mentioned earlier.

So every half an hour i have to restart the wdtv live hub.... Very annoying and this will be my last WD products in my life... The technical support seems to be bad and this issue has been reported by others as well.

    Thanks for all help.
