       WDTV takes too long to find hard drive

    Every time I connect my drive to the WDTV and turn it back on it takes up to five minutes to see the drive in the interface. There's a 20-sec stall with nothing happening, then another four minutes-or-so of the USB indicator flashing before the drive icon shows up and I can watch my newly-added video files.

    Is there any way to make this go faster? I have media library disabled.

    The drive is a My Book Studio Edition 1TB, HFS+ formatted.
