Hi. I have my WDTV Live Media Centre up and operational, but for some reason, when using it with Sickbeard and specifying in Sickbeard where to store videos I download, from time to time the volume name changes from WDTVLiveHub, to WDTVLiveHub-1 and sometimes WDTVLiveHub-2. This means I then have to change the directory for every series I download. Is there a reason why this happens? I cannot understand it.

    Thanks,

Can you check if it is somehow getting disconnected and then reconnecting to the network with a different name?

Hi - not sure how I would do that. I am running an iMac if that helps in any way.

Unfortunately, have never used Sickbeard and so can't really say whether it might have something to do with this problem. Maybe a Mac+Sickbeard user will chime in with a solution. If nothing works, I guess you can try debugging the issue via the Sickbeard console. It may provide some pointers at least as to where the problem lies.

sickbeard only gets NZB'z, it doesn't download anything, you need a news reader / client to download.
I would never recommend you redirect it away from your computer, download to your computer and copy it over tot he hub afterwards.

it appears something is going to sleep and when it wakes up and tries to copy to the destination folder, it appends it's network name, perhaps the master browser is telling it that the name already exists, not sure though...
