Can anyone direct me on how to get the 1080p apple trailers .mov files to play in 5.1?

Here is what I know/have done:
-When in Digital audio output I get no sound at all.
-Currently using a Denon 2310: http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/5011.asp (have changed input modes from HDMI to optical with no luck)
-Have tried the latest firmware and also the beta firmware
-The files that I have do contain 5.1 (all from Apple Trailers website)
-I have tried both optical and HDMI output for audio
-I have attempted to use both the Arcsoft and MKVerge software. Results: No Sound
-I am having trouble understanding Popcorn software (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
-.mkv files are working fine in 5.1

As an alternative if you know of a website where I can get 1080p movie trailers and surround sound format that works with the WDtv I would do that.

The goal is to have multiple trailers on a loop playing 5.1 audio and 1080p video.

Thanks! Sorry if this is a repetitive post!

It is limited to stereo because the WDTV is decoding the audio to a dowmix stereo.

I think the receiver won't play so WDTV is taking over.

Is there a work around that anyone knows about? Do I have to change the audio settings on the WDTV to stereo from digital and then try the .MOV file containing ACC audio.

What is ACC? Do you mean AAC? Or AC3? If you have MOVs or MP4s with an AAC audio stream that doesn't work, try demuxing the file, converting the audio track to AC3, remuxing back and playing the new file.
