    Windows 7 Enterprise
    WDTV Live Plus, original firmware
    500GB external WD drive formatted ext3

    I can see the external drive attached to the WDTV, I can read from it.
    As far as permissions go, I am 90% sure they are set properly.
    I am 80% sure I could write to this drive once upon a time.

    I am 100% sure that I read on the net something that I had running was blocking the write-ability to the drive.
    I cannot for the life of me remember what it was, or what to turn off.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I used WD Discovery software to map wdtv hdd to my pc... after that, no problem copying files to wdtv
