Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has similar issues.

    Setup:
    - Gigabit network, the hub is connected via Ethernet cable, a laptop and a NAS are present in the network. They all work in the same workgroup (named WORKGROUP).

    What works:
    - WD Hub is able to stream from NAS.
    - WD sees the laptop as a network share.

    What doesn't work:
    - WD Hub doesnt see NAS as a network share. My laptop does see it just fine, same as the WD Live plus unit I had last week.
    - When streaming from NAS, I am unable to see the MKV files. I had to rename them to AVI to make it work.

Anyone has seen this? I upgraded to the latest offical firmware.

    Thank you,
    Adrian

I got the first issue working; I had to unplug the WD Hub, leave it alone for about 10 minutes to come to its senses. When I turned it on, I went to Video/Select Content Source/Network Share and I was able to see my NAS listed there.

I am still looking for a solution to why my MKV files are not visible when streaming from NAS, I thought only ISO are not visible because of a limitation with DLNA.

Hi, Firmware all up to date? Sorry I don't have a NAS drive to test any issues you have but thought I'd take a stab at the firmware question.

    Cheers!
