Is there anyway to zoom into videos in WDTV?

If a video has horizontal letterboxing or a vertical letterboxing, the video won't take up the whole screen....

On most DVD players you can hit a button to zoom in and expand the video to try to fit your screen.
This functionality is sorely absent on WDTV as far as I can tell.

Is this a functionality that is planned at some point? If so when?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I didn't find the answer anywhere.

    Thanks!!

Your first post was in the Live Plus section, but now you've posted in the Gen. 1 section. So which model do you own in the first place, which FW version is installed etc.? The Gen. 1 is no longer being developed and so obviously no new functionality is planned.

Press the option button and you'll see a zoom in/out option.
