       AVI playback issue

    I have an avi that plays back really choppy, it will play for a few seconds and then pause on one picture for a minute and then switch to a new picture. Audio playback is normal. Here is the media info
    AVI: 233 MiB, 24mn 22s1 198 Kbps, 640*480 (16:9), at 29.970 fps, MPEG-4 Visual (XviD) (Packed bitstream) (Advanced Simple@L5) (BVOP2 / GMC3 / QPel)128 Kbps, 48.0 KHz, 2 channels, MPEG Audio (MP3) (Version 1) (Layer 3) (Joint stereo / MS Stereo)

    It seems to be a problem with GMC, any idea how to quickly remove GMC?

    @Allyn: You'll need to re-encode, which is both time consuming and will result in some amount of quality loss.
