Folks, I recently bought one HD Live Plus from US during my visit. But looks like it is not working here in India with my Samsung Plano Crt Box. Any particular set up i need to do ?

I wonder why you got a Live Plus, when a Live would do for you? The sole difference between the Live and the Live Plus (and the reason for the extra cost) is that the latter has Netflix while the former doesn't. Since Netflix is restricted to US (and soon Canada), a Live Plus makes no sense for people living elsewhere.

Since the box is from an NTSC region and your location uses PAL, most probably that's the problem. Check the manual and see if the player can be switched to PAL from NTSC and try that. Also, how are you connecting the player to the TV? Via HDMI?

I guess it recognise DVD while Live does not. Anyway it is working now, without changing anything. Looks like a bug in firmware ?

The Live displays DVD menus too with the latest beta FW. As for the FW bug, could be, or maybe you inadvertently changed something. Anyway, as long as it works properly now...
