       Remote help, Don't have the remote control

    I've brought my WDTV on vacation and forgot the remote. The hotel room has a one for all URC-1050BG1 is there anyway I get configure that to work. We also have an iphone, playbook and ipad but the WDTV is not on a network. Any help would be appreciated.

    Lots of people have had success with Logitech Harmony remotes. Most universal remotes have the ability to read IR remote codes into memory. Unfortunately I've never even heard of this URC-1050BG1 remote (who is it manufactured by?), or whether codes are even available for it anywhere.

    Edit: I just downloaded the manual from the manufacturer's site. Seems to be a discontinued model and the manual had no mention of WD anywhere.
