    Hi all,

I have had my new unit for about two weeks and the other day it just stopped responding to the remote control commands. Onscreen menu looks fine but the unit is totally not responding to the remote control. Will not even turn off or on. I Can turn off and on with the button on the unit but nothing beyond that.

Today i tried to push the reset and that got it going again after a short time to collect the library and then it was fine. fine for about 24 hours and then it went unresponsive again. This time it happened when i paused a selection i was viewing and then it would not let me resume play.

I reset again and now is fine. But it will just happen again in time i assume.

    Any thoughts?

    thank you

    Vince

You can try (re-)flashing the latest firmware I guess, with a hard reset both before and after flashing. If you already have the latest version installed, edit the version number in the .VER file to a higher number (see Tutorials section for more) and do it.

If that doesn't help, it might be a sign of the hardware failing and you might want to look at an RMA (or exchange since it's a recent purchase).
