I'm having trouble playing the MP4s that Google Video sends as "HD Content", if I download them and save them. The PCH C-200 (which, I am told, uses the same chipset) has no problem playing them.

I've played quite a few of them on mine. They all work.

Amusingly, WD tried to claim that "M4V" was an "unsupported extension" (as if that should make any difference in reading the underlying FILE FORMAT, which they admit they support).

I told them, whatever, it took them two and a half weeks to come up with a lame answer, and the piece of crap is going back to Best Buy. My C-200 is waiting for me at home as soon as I get back from a business trip. :-)

It's no worse than Google telling you that video you're watching is HD....lol
