    I have just seen a good deal on the two USB Wireless adapters to possibly use on my WDTV Live HD media player .

    D-Link
    DWA - 125
    DWA - 140

    on the WD approved list of wireless adapters it shows the version numbers as being ...

    DWA - 125 (v A1 - FW - 1.00)
    DWA - 140 (v 1.30)

    The ones on sale are versions ...

    DWA - 125 (v 1.50)
    DWA - 140 (v 2.0)

    does the different version numbers on the ones for sale really matter , would they still work on my WDTV Live HD media player ( WDBAAP0000NBK ) .

    any comments welcome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

    The FW revisions mentioned on the list are the ones WD has specifically tested. Nothing else is guaranteed to work (though it very well may) and as far as WD goes, you're on your own if you buy anything not on the list.

    Ask the seller!! If they don't respond, they don't deserve your business.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

    Hey there

    I just purchased a DWA 160 today and got it working perfectly without any hiccups. I know it's a little more money, but I can confirm it works with:

    Firmware 1.06.16_B

    using D-Link DWA-160, Hardware Ver. A2, Firmware Ver. 1.80

    This adapter is on the supported adapter list, but in the revision column it says "not listed*". Well, it works great. Hope this proves useful.
