I have a few CDs ripped to 320kbps which are fine in my portable MP3 player and also from my desktop PC. When the WDTV Live tries to play them they are jumpy and frequently pause. I'm confident that it's not the network or bandwidth because I frequently stream HDTV content and if a 15GB movie streams from the same media server without any issues it's unlikely that the size of a 14MB audio file is the problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Can you still confirm by playing one from a directly attached USB drive?
