       [Help] Playback of Transformes 1080p movie

    Has anyone had any trouble with the playback of the Transformers 1080p MKV movie file? It's about 24Gb in size. When I play the movie every few seconds or so the picture and sound will stutter or get into slo-mo for a few seconds. I've tried a couple of other 1080p MKV movie file such as Speed Racer which had 10Gb file size and it went smoothly. I had the same problem when I played it on my laptop with MPC, CoreAVC and Haali Splitter.

    Could it be that WDTV has trouble playing a file this size? Does anyone know if NMTs have problem playing this file?

    most likely it's the file, I have a few that play crappy..
    stutter, sound cuts in and out, etc. I have played many files that are 16GB or more, it has no problems so I doubt it's a file size issue

    try mediainfo

    it will tell you a lot about the file you're trying to play. it could just be bad encoding..
