Hi all,
I have noticed that my WDTV is not responding to the remote. I have replaced the battery of the remote but often it took like 50 times to press to select a movie. is this a known issue with the hardware? |

Hi all, I have noticed that my WDTV is not responding to the remote. I have replaced the battery of the remote but often it took like 50 times to press to select a movie. is this a known issue with the hardware? Hi melisa, I have heard of this problem before. Does this happen night and day? Is there a bright light source near the wdtv or in its path between the remote and the wdtv? If not you can also try this hack found > HERE. You might be able to try it before you take apart the wdtv by just putting the film over the sensor and see if that helps, and if that works go for the full hack. Hope this helps. Cheers! |

Thanks for the reply.
It seems, it happens when I have a large file in my 1TB HDD. if it is more than 40Gig, then it start to play up. Has anyone experience the same thing?? |
