Hi guys...I Recently downloaded some flash files (.flv) and I can't get them to play on my HD TV. They work for my WD Live though. Any suggestions?

Moved this to the Live section, since you don't own the Gen. 2 model.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) They work fine on the Live, but not on your TV? How do you know they work fine on the Live then? What's the Live connected to? Also, check the manual for the complete container/codec compatibility list. If your file type/codec is not mentioned there, you can't play it without re-encoding. |

Sorry if I was unclear...I have a gen 2 model which the flash files do not show up on when I plug in the hard drive via usb. I also have a Live tv which does read the files.

Ok, moved it back... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I don't know what a "Live TV" is, but in any case, the answer remains the same:
Also, check the manual for the complete container/codec compatibility list. If your file type/codec is not mentioned there, you can't play it without re-encoding.
