    My wdtvlive says fatal system error, once i finished installing my latest firmware version 1.05.something.
    guys can u please tell me, when im updating my wdtvlive should i keep my HDD hooked to the USB or should i eject it and then update?

    I have never had a drive hooked up to mine when I upgraded it, I have always ejected it and removed it, of course I had to to insert the flash drive with the new firmware on it..

    Same here. Why risk my big HDD with all my files by keeping it connected during a firmware flash?
