from what I've read on other sites the 200MB power line adapters aren't very good, you can stream 720p with them but not 1080p.
I don't have any and never tried them so that's only what I read.

I have a few D-link DWA-140 wireless adapters and can stream anything I have tried using N (150) wireless quite easily.
I use an ASUS RT-N16 router with DD-WRT firmware on it to stream from, it is an N only wireless network and specifically for streaming media, the computer users in my house have a separate wireless network to connect to.

given the price of the power line adapters versus wireless, wireless is the cheaper option if you have 2 or more devices.
if you decide to go wireless, I would seriously look at a 300MB dual band N router and compatible wireless adapters to ensure optimal performance.

So you are saying run 2 seperate wirless networks. one for media only and one for the other.
So what dual band wirelss adapters work with the wdtv boxes?
Also are the new WDTV Live (SMP) boxes any good. They have wireless built in don't they?
    thanks

I am currently using the Solwise AV200 units (200Mbps) and I can tell you they work just fine, including streaming 1080p.
