anyone have split video files of the same title due to FAT32 hard drive format? i'm curious to know the playback of these files with WDTV. did it play the files automatically or do i have to play each files manually. if it did play automatically does it have any delay in between files. if there is delay how badly was it? in my laptop there isn't any noticeable delay playing the files as long as they're within the same folder.
also, i'm thinking of transferring these files onto a NTFS hard drive and i plan to use mkvmerge to merge the mkv files of the same title. has anyone tried merging it with this software and how was the result? was there any noticeable loss in quality? did it playback seamlessly as if it was originally a single file? |

I dont have any split mkv files but I have tried a dvd rip with vob files that are contained in one folder. Those play seamlessly, I hope that sort of helps. I dont see why the mkv would be any different. With those vob files thought they have to be in their own folder...good luck.
