    Hi there,

Now I am a British who live and work in Thailand where I got WD TV Live from and very pleased with it so far.

The only question is would it be possible to get BBC iPlayer channel when I move back to the UK?

From my guess, I think the reason that I don't have it because I live in Bangkok which has a different IP. So, if I bring this lovely device back there - will it has the channel appear..? Or I do have to upgrade firmware from there?

Or it's impossible (which I really wouldn't like to have it happens) and I have to buy a new one from UK store instead?

    Cheers,

It's an internet service and will stream to any British IP address. While you're in Thailand, you can always access the site via a VPN service that provides you a UK-based IP address.
