So I've got my wdtv and a external hard drive.... I'm using dvdfab to rip the dvd's on the hard drive and making them into a vob files. The problem is its not separating the subtitle so I dont have a subtitle the rewind/fast forward doesnt work well at all. I can get a subtitle if I rip chapters however it will no longer play continuously, but the rewind and fast forward work great. Any one have any suggestions? I also cant get thumbnails to work with the vob files. It takes me alot longer to copy anything but vob files.

Subtitles, chapters, FF and RW work fine, and there is no transcoding so no quality loss. MakeMKV can change a DVD to MKV quickly, an will also work with the files you already ripped (point it at the IFO file). http://www.makemkv.com/ |
