I just backed up my BluRay of Seven Pounds into an MKV container but I don't get any sound. MediaInfo reads as such;
CODE Audio #1 ID: 2 Format: TrueHD Codec ID: A_TRUEHD Duration: 2h 3mn Bit rate mode: Variable Maximum bit rate: 2 475 Kbps Channel(s): 6 channels Channel positions: Front: L C R, Side: L R, LFE Sampling rate: 48.0 KHz Compression mode: Lossless Language: English Is this audio type unsupported? |

How have you connected the player to your receiver? Does it support TrueHD?
If you're trying to downmix to stereo and getting no audio, then most probably the codec isn't supported. |
