I'm planning to buy the wdtv live to view my captured videos. I'd like to know if the following resolution - 768x576 PAL, avi (xvid/mp3) , plays properly without any issues. Can anyone please test if the following 1-min recorded file (http://www.mediafire.com/?ny0jy2yzowk) plays as intended? I've run into varius media players that only supported 720x576, and I'd like to avoid re-encoding my files.

In short, will the wdtv play ANY resolution, even if non-standard, as long as it's below 1080p?

    Thanks everyone
