Folks,
I've just got my WDTV LIVE Gen 3 and everything looks OK. I've tried to connect a regular USB-based keyboard to my device and it works fine. But I don't want to have the wired connection over my living room. Does anybody has REAL experience using Bluetooth (or other wireless) keyboard with WDTV LIVE Gen 3? Thank you for advance. |

Actually WDTV doesn't have a bluetooth module...
My question is about the keyboard which has a usb-based dongle. |

I use a cheap wireless keyboard with my WDTV SMP. It came with a USB dongle (very small) that I plug into a USB splitter box which allows me to also have a USB HDD plugged into the same port on the WDTV as the keyboard. The WDTV will only accept one HDD per USB port, therefore a maximum of 2 HDD's total on "local" connection but it will recognize a keyboard + 2 HDD's when connected this way.
btw... this also worked with my WDTV Live before I upgraded to the SMP... |
