hello
i just want to ask for help on how to convert dts to ac3 , since my wdtv wont play dts audio , so i need to convert it to ac3. the problem is i dont know how. can any of you guyz here teach me or poin me on the right direction as to to get a guide on what do i need and what o do on order for me to convert dts to ac3 thanks |

Yeah, except MKVs are so much more versatile and seems to just work better on these players, so why would you want to switch back to VOBs?

i just wanted
to convert my dts audio to ac3 audio coz my wdtv cant play dts audio thats why i need t oconvert it to ac3 audio popcorn mkv doesnt seem to work on me now can you suggest another audio converter thanks |

You can use the MKVMerge to extract the DTS.
Then use dbPowerAmp to convert the DTS to AC3. Is basically as I remember couples clicks. Very easy. Just take a look in the net and you can find. Then user MKVToolNix to create a new MKV with the AC3 inside. You can even keep the DTS if you wish and end up with 2 audio streams on it. It usually takes about 12 to 15 minutes the entire process once you are used to. My machine is a AMD X2 3800+ (2.0ghz). If your machine is faster then that it can be much more faster to do all the process. Cheers. |
