How does WDTV resume feature function ? I find that the resume function on my Xvids is flaky with firmware 1.02.10 or it may be something i'm doing.
Everything works for a couple of days but then all the resume points for different Xvids disappear and videos must be started over. Are the resume point stores on the HD ? I have a 500GB drive that is unplugged when the WDTV is powered off to add content but this seem to work fine, if power is cut to the WDTV are the resume points lost Any Ideas ? |

Hello, Once the HD is unplugged from the WDTV all resumes are lost. neverlift, are you sure about this? As far as I can make out, info. re. the resume points is stored in the Media Library on the HDD (in the root folder called .WD_TV). If the drive hasn't been ejected properly or is corrupted or that dir. is deleted etc., the resume points will be lost but otherwise they seem to work fine even after unplugging a drive, adding content and then plugging it in again. |
