Seagate has thrown their hat into the media player market with their new Seagate Freeagent Theater. This thing is big with no hdmi output! Check the review here > FreeAgent Theater. Not impressed, it seems they rushed this out to the public due to the success with the WD TV. But im at a loss for words that it has no HDMI output, what goods that? Whats your take on this thing?

Who told you it doesn't have HDMI output? It certainly does. it does 1080p just like the WDTV Live. It also supports networking ability just like the WDTV Live. Other than costing $10-20 more and having an extra USB port, it seems to be exactly the same (in terms of specs) as the WDTV Live.

You can see the HDMI output right there.
