Seagate has thrown their hat into the media player market with their new Seagate Freeagent Theater. This thing is big with no hdmi output! Check the review here > FreeAgent Theater. Not impressed, it seems they rushed this out to the public due to the success with the WD TV. But im at a loss for words that it has no HDMI output, what goods that? Whats your take on this thing?

    Take a look at it here > Attached File  seagate_tv.gif ( 26.38K ) Number of downloads: 23

over priced, under equipped (features and connections) and just plain ugly.

I can't see it doing very well at all.. 720p / 1080i is not acceptable in a media player trying to get market share. 1080p is the standard, meet it or stay home.
no hdmi, gimme a break.. can't play back as many file types as competing products..

seems the list gets bigger and bigger with everything I read about this 'thing'
