       Wi-Fi no longer works

    Hi,

    i've purchased WDTV gen. 2 few weeks ago and after some research i got it working flawlessly.
    Yesterday i found out that my 802.11n adapter works under 802.11g, so I've changed few settings in WD TV and even if i reset WDTV to factory settings, Wi-Fi seems to be dead. Diode doesn't start flashing.

    BTW I've only copied /etc/RT2870STA.dat to /conf and rebooted. After this - wi-fi is dead.

    I'm sorry, misteriously solved again, but i've still problem wth usb wi-fi working as 802.11g instead 802.11n. (Edimax 7711UAn (rt3070/2870)

    There are few v2 owners around I guess compared to Live owners, but thanks anyway for keeping us posted, since your experience might certainly help others as well facing the same issue.

    Solved this issue too :-D Turned WPA2 off and voila - 135Mb/s.

    I had v1 before, but there was problems with 'damaged' videos, v2 plays that movies perfectly (tried with the same files) and also a/v sync problems are gone.

    So - after, i dunno - 30 hrs of running between pc and wdtv it works really good! i could buy Live but i don't like the COLOR :-D and don't need LAN, 135M WLAN is enough for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
