have an MKV file, ACDC Live at Donington, and it stops playing after about 30 seconds. Doesn't matter if I skip past, it still freezes. The WDTV does still work though, i can exit out of the movie and play another file just fine. I have a gen 1 model.

Here's the file info, any ideas what to do with it to get it to play?

Download mkvtoolnix and use mkvmerge to remux the file afresh (just open and start muxing to a different file name). Test the new MKV and see. Hopefully this will fix the problematic file.

Looking over the file specs, the only thing that really stands out for me is the resolution.... it's odd that its 1916x1080, and not 1920 x 1080...

If it's not the resolution... could it be something wrong when the file was muxed together??? Maybe demuxing the streams and remuxxing might resolve the issue... that should only take a few minutes to try out...

Just throwing out suggestions as based on the specs that file should play...
