Hi Guys, this is my first time here, so please help me with this one,

I recently bought my WDTV and its great but I dont know why it doesnt work over my hdmi cable ( http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Go-Velocity-4...4631&sr=8-1 )and tv ( Sharp Aquos LC-32D62U http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-Aquos-LC32D62U...p/dp/B000NEDYEC ), I think maybe its a compatibility issue but you are the experts so... anyone can check it out? I was thinking on buying another HDMI cable (v1.3) but I really dont know if is an TV issue, thank you in advance for your help!!!

Most probably the cables. Many people have solved their problems by trying alternate cables till they hit on one that worked. In any case, it's far easier to swap cables than your TV. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you have doubts re. your set though, you can always try on another TV with HDMI ports.

    Quick fix for this.

Trim the plastic back on the HDMI cable connection that goes into the WDTV.

It is a known problem and happened to a friend of mine last week. The connection is too deep in the wdtv for some hdmi cables, simple as that.
