I need to get another external hard drive. I have my book essential. I notice there is one called elements. It is cheaper for the same size. What differences should I expect if I go that way?
    Thanks

I've never tried Essential but the Elements series uses WD Green drives, and if I were to guess the Essential series uses WD Black drives, so it's the performance that differs.

May B late, but never too late (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I got me an Apacerís AC601 External Hard Drive 500G (eSATA and USB 2.0 interface)
and I must admit I'm quite satisfied wit it .
It does everything "Passport", "Essential" or "Elements" do, for less money
+ it has WD HDD init (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

    recommendable
