I have a number of AVI files that start almost in sync as the playback begins but eventually as the file plays it audio track is seconds behind the video track. Can't seem to find any method of syncing the two tracks. Is there some way of doing this within the wd media player. The files are stored in a wd external drive.
    Thanks for assistance in advance.

    Hey guys,

I have the exact same problem as the OP and figured there's no need for a new thread.

Until now all of my files, be it AVI, MKV, MPG, etc, have all worked without any sync issues. However, this particular group of AVIs (Remington Steele Season 2, haven't tried other seasons yet) all start off in sync, then get progressively worse as the episode goes on.

Even if I press fast forward and next 3 times to skip to the 30 minute mark of the episode, it is still just as out of sync as if I were to watch those 30 minutes.

    I ran it through mediainfo:
