The hub forum has not had much activity. Is the software sufficiently similar for other WD products so that I can glean info from those discussions?

fairly close, just know that there is NO custom firmware for the live hub and there is a slim to no chance that there ever will be..
other than that it's pretty much the same as the live plus with the addition of a hard drive and more online functionality. |
