I would like for there to be a way to see the Artists and then see all of the Albums under that Artist when you click that artists name. Currently you see all of the songs under that Artist at once....jumbled together.

I wholeheartedly agree. It seems to be an example of the design approval being made by people who don't really use the product. I have nearly the entire Beatles catalog, and when I filter by artist it shows me a list of 679 songs! Useless.
Fortunately, I've always kept the file structure on my PC organized by Artist, Album, Song so I just view by Folder. (dbPowerAmp is great at this when ripping.) |

What would be nice would be music interface like the fruit people have done, I have a huge inventory of music, all organized with album art embedded into each one of the songs, all the tags are done properly, so why not be able to use all of my 50" led screen and have an album slide to selection with the possibility to have a filter " display album by artist " ?
Must be possible, there geniuses here (not me) someone could write something ? I'd gladly test it ! |

In my correspondence with WD tech support, they seem completely unaware of the music interface and how it works on software media players. I got conflicting information about how the tags are used, and constantly was struck by the realization that none of these people must actually USE this player for playing music.
I made a lot of suggestions but I don't know if they'll follow up in the future. |
