I'm have a problem on DVD files when panning shots appear. It happens in both VOB copies and MKV containers. It occurs on all media types and on external and internal drives. The jerkiness does not appear on the source media when played in a DVD player, which is a geniune commerical DVD. It occurs in several different movies, although it may be apparent in one more than another due to the type of camera shot.
I had this problem in a Gen 1 box, and hoped it would be corrected in the new hardware. Jerkiness when playing 1080p files DID disappear on the new hardware. Apparently it still has a problem with MPEG2 video. Has anyone else seen this problem? |

hurricane51 -
Been having much of the same problems myself. Have not come up with a fix for this yet. Have tried re-ripping/re-downloading and sometimes that helps. Thought I had a fix in switching the style of video the box outputs. Hopefully Ill have a great answer in the future. Until then, Happy Stutters (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) |
