I downloaded the latest firmware upgrade for WD TV Live Plus HD Media Player.

I copied the 3 firmware files to a newly formatted USB key.

I plugged the USB key into the USB port on the WD TV Live Plus.

The device prompted me to upgrade and I selected OK. After that the firmware is loaded, the device reboots and the upgrade procedure starts all over again.

This just goes on and on and on...over and over again....How do I fix this or at least roll back to an earlier firmware version???

    I got the firmware here:

I solved it by installing a modified version: http://wdtvhd.com/index.php?showforum=158

The same happen to me. Tried with two usb devices, one of the WD Essential 1TB drive. It is almos bricked. I tried downgrading but it didn't work. Is there any solution rather than installing a custom FW?

Thank you!!!. After 20 FW updates I finally got it working again. It didn't work as described in the post, so I will put my comments in that post.
