    I just recently bought a WD TV Live Plus and was wondering if there is a way to play shuffle through all the songs. I have a seperate folder for each album on an external drive connected to my pc and have to go to each folder to play the songs in it. After playing all the songs for that album/folder it just repeats them again and doesn't go to the next album.

    Is there a setting that can be changed or modified or does the external drive have to be connected directly to the media player for the media library to work?

    Not sure on network drives but works fine on USB drives attached to the WDLive box with the media library turned on. Choose the drive/all music and then set it to shuffle.

    I have had weird issues with network drives from a PC with various other things (like cant see matroska .MKV files) so ended up with my drives attached to the WDbox.

    Not a full answer but hopefuly better than nothing

    Thats what i thought it could be. I'll connect my h/d to the box and test it and see if it makes a diff.
